Exemption from liability
1. Content of the online offer
The author does not provide any guarantee for the up-to-date status,
accuracy, completeness or quality of the information provided. Liability
claims against the author that relate to damages of a material or goodwill
nature, which are caused by the use or non-use of the information presented
or by the use of defective and incomplete information, are basically
excluded, provided no intentional or gross negligent conduct can be
proven against the author.
All offers are subject to change without notice and are not binding.
The author expressly reserves the right to change, supplement or delete
parts of the pages or the entire offer without separate declaration
or to cease the publishing temporarily or definitively.
2. Reference and Links
With direct or indirect references to external Internet pages ("links")
that are outside the area of responsibility of the author, a liability
would exclusively be enforced in cases in which the author has knowledge
of the content and in which it would be technically and reasonably possible
for him to prevent the use in the case of illegal content.
The author herewith expressly declares that at the time of the establishing
of the links, no illegal content could be detected on the pages to be
linked. The author has no influence on the current and future design,
content or authorship of the linked/connected pages. He therefore expressly
distances himself from all content of all linked/connected pages that
have been changed after the installation of the links. This provision
applies for all links and references placed within the own Internet
offer and for external entries in guest books, discussion forums and
mailing lists set up by the author. For illegal, defective or incomplete
content and especially for damages that arise as a result of the use
or non-use of information presented of such a nature, the provider of
the page which was referred to shall alone be liable; not the provider
who merely referred to the respective publication via links.
3. Copyright and trademark
The author shall make every effort to take the copyright of the graphics,
audio documents, video sequences and texts used in all publications
into account, to use graphics, audio documents, video sequences and
text that he himself has created or to access license-free graphics,
audio documents, video sequences and texts.
All brand names and trademarks named in the Internet offer and, where
required, protected by third parties are subject without restriction
to the provisions of the respective valid trademark law and the ownership
rights of the respective entered owner. On the basis of the mere naming
alone, it cannot be concluded that trademarks are not protected by the
rights of third parties.
The copyright for published items created by the author himself remains
with the author of the pages alone. A duplication or use of such graphics,
audio documents, video sequences and texts in other electronic or printed
publications is not permitted without the explicit consent of the author.
4. Data protection
Insofar as the option of entering personal or business data exists
(e-mail addresses, names, addresses) within the Internet offer, the
surrender of this data on the part of the user shall be made on an explicitly
voluntary basis. The commissioning and payment of all services offered
is, insofar as is technically feasible and reasonable, also permitted
without providing such data or with provision of anonymous data or a
pseudonym.
5. Legal effectiveness of this exemption from liability
This exemption from liability is to be considered a constituent part
of the Internet offer, reference to which was made on this page. Where
parts or individual formulations of this text do not, no longer or do
not completely correspond with the applicable legal circumstances, the
remaining parts of the document shall remain unaffected in their content
and validity.
